WHO I AM

I, Violet Radd (Snyco Industries), make software and run this site at violetradd.me. I practice data minimization. I do not sell personal data. I do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

SCOPE

This policy covers all software I publish (apps, sites, extensions, tools) and this website. Product-specific notes may appear in-app or on a product page and control for that product.

PRINCIPLES

• Collect the minimum.
• Store the minimum for the shortest time.
• No sale of personal data.
• No dark patterns.
• Clear opt-in where required.

WHAT I COLLECT

By default I aim to operate without collecting personal data. If a feature needs data, I ask only for what's required and say why.

Categories I might process if a feature requires it (only if you enable a feature that needs them):

• Account data: email, display name.
• Usage data: app events, crash logs.
• Device/technical data: OS, version, diagnostics.
• Content you submit to use a feature (files, text, images).
• Payments: handled by a payment processor; I do not store full card details.

Data comes from you, your device, or third-party services you choose to connect.

WHY I USE DATA

• Provide and maintain features you enable.
• Debug, secure, and prevent abuse.
• Measure performance and reliability.
• Comply with law.

• Contract (to run what you use).
• Legitimate interests (security, debugging, minimal analytics).
• Consent (where I ask for it).

NO SALE OR AD “SHARING”

I do not sell personal data. I do not “share” personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

I use only what's necessary to run the site/app or what you opt into. You can clear or block them in your browser/device settings.

THIRD PARTIES

I use processors (hosting, crash reporting, analytics limited to what's necessary, payments). They act on my instructions and must protect data. Current processors for a given product will be listed in that product's notes or settings.

DATA RETENTION

I keep data only as long as needed for the stated purpose, then delete or anonymize it. Typical defaults:

• Crash/diagnostic logs: 30-90 days.
• Account data: until you delete your account or after a set inactivity period.
• Backups: rotate on a fixed schedule (e.g., 30 days).

Product pages may specify exact periods.

SECURITY

I use standard safeguards (encryption in transit, least-privilege access, routine patching). No method is 100% secure, but I work to reduce risk.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and opt out of sale/sharing (not applicable here).

CHILDREN

My services are not directed to children under 13 (or as defined by local law). I do not knowingly collect their data.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

If data is transferred internationally, I use lawful transfer mechanisms and apply the same protections.

If a breach likely affects your rights and freedoms, I will notify you and regulators as required.

CHANGES

If I change this policy, I update the date above. For material changes, I provide a prominent notice and, where required, obtain consent.
